Kirim has been a affordable email marketing tool to manage your contacts and send email blast newsletters. The email design builder is sometimes glitchy, but hopefully they improve that over time. Confident that Kirim will improve deliverability and manage spam to ensure user's emails land in the right inbox. I look forward what Kirim can develop into and provide reliable email marketing tools.
I've tested Kirim Email, an SMTP provider, at its launch, a year later, and again in 2024. Despite multiple tries, its performance disappointed as all my emails consistently landed in spam.
I wish there was a zero tacos for this one. I bought the deal (highest tier) because Appsumo's own description promised it as an alternative to Sendgrid, AmazonSES.
The Transactional mail that was in beta back when I bought this in 2021 and it still is in beta. It was promised to be released fully working by january 2022. Not there even a year later.
Delivery rate is terrible, goes straight to spam. They did get their servers hacked or something and had a bit of trouble with sender reputation, but now the situation is users getting their accounts locked for no reason.
They claim breach of terms of service, but never state what terms no matter how many times you ask. I have a chain of emails of me trying to ask which of my 50 sent woocommerce default template order confirmations do they see as breaching their transactional mail service but no answer. Just blabbering on about email lists (which I do not use) and using outside services to check and verify my mails (which appsumo touted it would do automatically and is therefore better than most)
On top of that the user panel still has broken links to 404 pages.
I waited very patiently for more than two years to see if this product would revive and could be put to good use, but no. I can't in good faith use this with any of my clients in this state and it doesn't seem there will be any kind of recovery in this.
I'm guessing it's too late to ask appsumo for refund at this point. Should've gone for it right away and not give it this much time.
I have plenty of experience with Sendinblue and AmazonSES and Sendgrid and never had any trouble with their transactional services. Then Kirim.Email bans my account for the very exact same use. Woocommerce order confirmation templates on low volume even.
I cannot imagine simplier and safer use for transactional mails, I cannot fathom the reason for this. That's the exact usecase the whole concept was created for.
I feel misled and severely betrayed by both Appsumo and Kirim.Email.
i went all in on this because it sounded so good. never again. major problems with this service: 1. many categories of businesses are not allowed. 2. deliverability is abysmal, i converted an old list of about 75 addresses that had 2 or 3 users that were not getting emails reliably and only ONE was delivered. 3. then KIRIM helpfully unsubscribed the entire list as inactive users.

Overall a good product
It is stable and working well overall. I recommend this product. However, their API/transactional SMTP needs improvement.
