Q: Your product looks like it has great potential.

I have now purchased 5 Bookings SAAS at AppSumo. Each one has a different issue for my client that makes them unusable.

They own a cleaning business and the booking software they are currently using displays only a booking I.D. in the calendar, not the persons name. They have to open each booking to see any details. It's cumbersome when sending out their cleaning teams.

Does your booking software offer the option of displaying either the persons name OR... the address of the booking on the calendar? If so, that might make this the perfect solution for my client.

(They don't need any payment options, they charge on-site).
Thanks for your advice on this. By the way, your cleaning demo site: https://broomstickhome.com/ appears to be a dead site.

A: Hi Roger,

Thank you for your message. In the calendar view, the admin does see the customer names. Here is a screenshot from the admin panel, cleaning demo page, https://monosnap.com/file/h6tUKEh9kBMQs0b53kc7oiKC2uT3Xy .
Edward and Zach here are the customer names.
I am sure there will always be some missing features, and no software will be "perfect" but I think you should give kiwi a try, we are very confident with the features we have in the home services domain (funnel design, repeating appointments that you can activate from online booking settings, the multi-staff feature, charging customers one day before the service, etc..)

As to the demo site: Just fixed it, and you can check now.
We have extremely high standards with the uptime of our core systems (admin panel and online booking functionality) and didn't have as high standards with our demo sites. I built a WordPress site myself with Amazon's Lightsail service (I am not part of the engineering team), and it does collapse every 3-6 months for some reason. A simple reboot just solves it. That's why I am not involving our technical team as I prefer them to focus on our core product that we are selling.
But since this crashed at a time during your test, I understand we have to prioritize this more and I should ask the help from our wizards. Just wanted to provide the context that it doesn't reflect our principles regarding our software quality.

Thanks for the very quick reply, that alone is a big deal. I bought this right away and looked through the excellent overview tutorial. This may turn out to be one of the best services I have purchased on AppSumo!

I forgot to ask if the calendar exports to Google calendar. My client would like to have the bookings on his phone. Or perhaps you have a better idea for him. You seem to have thought out all lot of features before building this product and I may have missed seeing calendar exports.

Thanks again, I'm excited to get going setting this up and giving it a whirl. I'll be back to review for you as soon as I have a working knowledge of your service.

Hi Roger, happy to hear that we started off with a good first impression. Hope I am not late for this reply as Appsumo’s reply notifications don’t work as smooth as the first question notifications, and most of the times I see the replies coincidentally.

Your client can do a Google calendar two way sync and this way can easily view via Google calendar native apps.
For the purpose of not violating GDPR, we don’t put all booking details in the Google events so there will have to be some level of engagement with the kiwi admin panel. While designing the admin panel UX, we didn’t optimize the content creation pages for mobile, but viewing/consuming content like bookings is just fine and designed for mobile.

Feel free to write from the in-app messenger as many as questions as you wish.

And I hope we deserve and earn your good review. I am sure community would highly regard and trust your review given that you bought and tried more than 200 software products.

Best,

I think while answering this I have considered your client as the person who provides the service. If you mention that as the owner, they need to see all cleaners’ bookings in Google Calendar, then it might not be feasible. Each staff member can have a login, and sync their calendars and see their bookings at their Google Calendar. But assuming an owner might employ 20 cleaners, there is no easy way to just view them in the mobile native calendar, because technically this would represent 20 different calendars, and even maybe 40-50 events per day.
Hope I am making sense.
