enough to get tier 2 , may I ask if there is a possibility of us perhaps paying a fee that allows us to increase our members from 10 per team ?........

A: Hello - thanks for reaching out!

Here are the steps we have outlined for setting up your CNAME records with Knowtworthy:

1. Please add a CNAME record to your DNS records through your domain name registrar pointing to cname.knowtworthy.com
2. Then head to app.knowtworthy.com/settings and click on "Organization Settings". This is the page where you can modify all of the settings related to your organization.
3. On the same line as "CNAME" you'll see a text field which will let you change information about your organization.
4. Add your domain and click out of the text box to have your CNAME saved. We'll start processing your request on the backend but please note that depending on how frequently your DNS records are updated this could take up to 24 hours to propagate. Once that is complete you should have access to your Knowtworthy organization through your selected domain.

We are working on a guide post with this information, but I hope this helps!

Q: Can we have multiple subaccounts with one cname?

So my different teams have 1 subaccount for each team they are on?

A: Hello, thanks for your question! So you can add the CNAME that you would like to use in settings, but this CNAME will apply to your entire organization, so users can log in through the URL you specify, but each user will have the same experience when they log in: they will see the organization that they are in and the teams that they are a part of. You can change what teams any given user is in, but everyone would need to access their team through your URL. I will add that we are including features to help silo teams more effectively so that members can only see the team that they are a part of and not who else is in the organization, and this will be out with our next release. Please let me know if you have any other questions - happy to help!

Q: I purchased, but when I use the transcription, it's not being added to the document automatically.

Are we supposed to copy and paste every single transcribe sentence to the doc?? Because it's not being added to the doc as minutes. It's just bubbles where the sentence have been transcribed but no way to add them to the document like where I thought it was suppose to be. Since we're talking our minutes, why wouldn't it be on the document where it says "Add your minutes here..." Please tell me we don't copy and paste every transcribed sentence over the document and I'm just missing something...

A: Hello, thank you for your purchase! Our transcription features are built to enable better meetings and minutes by helping the minute-taker synthesize what was said into a useful document. We elected to focus on the minute-taking experience instead of simply saving transcripts, and we go into this vision a bit more in this blog article if you are interested: [https://knowtworthy.com/blog/should-you-transcribe-your-meetings/]

However, if you are interested in saving the real-time transcripts recorded during your meeting, I would recommend saving the transcript text file and then attaching it to your meeting minutes document. This way you have a permanent set of transcripts you can refer back to whenever you like. Here’s a guide article about saving transcripts: [https://knowtworthy.com/guide/downloading-transcripts/]

Hope this helps, and please let me know if you have any other questions or suggestions!

Q: If the software uses our computers' microphones, why can't we use it during a Zoom call?

A: Great question! If you are using your computer’s speakers to output your zoom call, your machine will often filter the output from the input stream, so your microphone won’t pass along sound data from what was said in the call. However, if you use Knowtworthy on a different device from the one on which you are recording (like taking the call from a phone and running Knowtworthy on your computer) there wouldn’t be any issues and you would get full transcripts from your microphone. Also, we do have zoom and google meet integrations on our roadmap, so eventually, you will be able to record directly through a conference call as well. Hope this helps!
