A practical and very useful tool for teaching and academic research

As a lecturer and someone interested in education and academic research, I have found Kortex to be a practical and very useful tool for organizing both teaching and research work. I use it to collect important conversations from AI tools, save articles, webpages, and sources related to a specific topic, and then organize everything inside NotebookLM in a clearer and more manageable way.

I find this especially useful when preparing lectures, reviewing sources, or creating educational materials for students. Instead of having ideas scattered across the browser, AI conversations, and different files, I can bring them together in one place and return to them whenever needed. The option to export sources and notes in different formats is also helpful for keeping academic materials and preparing summaries, study guides, and learning activities.

One aspect I particularly appreciate is that Kortex is not limited to saving notes. It helps create a more organized workflow around NotebookLM. I believe it can be useful for teachers and researchers who work with a large number of sources or use several languages, such as Arabic, German, and English.

That said, I have a few suggestions that could make the tool even stronger for academic use. More specialized research features would be valuable, such as comparing studies, extracting key ideas, and organizing literature reviews. Shared workspaces, comments, and version tracking would also be very useful for researchers working in teams.

I also like the feature that saves webpages as PDF, but I would appreciate an additional option to save pages in HTML format. This could preserve a version that is closer to the original appearance of an article or source.

Overall, I see Kortex as a promising and useful tool for teachers, lecturers, and researchers. It reduces the time spent copying and organizing information and provides a practical way to collect knowledge and turn it into material that can be used for teaching and research. I would recommend it especially to anyone who uses NotebookLM regularly and wants to manage academic sources and AI conversations more effectively.
