I’ve been using Kortex mainly to move my AI research into NotebookLM faster, and overall I’d say it’s one of those tools that feels incredibly useful once it clicks.

The biggest win for me is how easy it is to grab conversations from ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and web pages without the usual copy-paste mess.

That alone saves a lot of time. I also really like the podcast feed feature because it turns research into something I can listen to later, which is surprisingly practical.

That said, it hasn’t been perfect. Looking through user feedback, the main complaints were reliability issues early on, especially around notebooks not loading properly or things feeling buggy.

A few people also called out PDF export formatting and the extra Kortex branding in exports as frustrating. So it’s definitely not a flawless product.

Still, what gives me confidence is that the founder has been very active in responding, fixing issues, and shipping updates. That matters a lot with a tool like this.

If you use NotebookLM seriously and want a faster way to collect AI chats, notes, and sources in one place, Kortex is genuinely promising and already very useful — just with a few rough edges that seem to be improving over time.
