A promising work-in-progress
What they don't tell you up front is that you can only record action taking place in a Google Chrome web browser window. They say they are working on desktop apps that will allow recording of windows from other apps, but that doesn't help me today (I need tutorials for certain tasks in Excel, Word, etc.).
Also, to attempting to log in, they send you an email that contains a button you press to do the login. Apparently my web host's spam filter catches these, so I never get them. So I cannot login in the normal fashion (they sent me a hack work-around), and I can't add any sub-users at my Internet domain (whose email accounts all go through the same spam filtering).
I'm hopeful about the future, but at present Kroto does not meet my needs.
