    Hello, Sumo-ling community!

    This is Jess Rod, founder of Kruiters, and I'm excited to share this post with you today.

    1. THE STORY

    My wife and co-founder, Mary, had been working for a staffing agency when she decided to become a freelance recruiter.

    The business was working well, but she wasn't excited about the costly Applicant Tracking System (ATS) solutions she found. She was a freelancer, and paying a fortune for an ATS she didn't like felt wrong.

    Lost in the hype, sometimes misled, she never found the ATS tailored for freelance recruiters she wanted. Then, she asked me to create it from scratch. (And for that, she calls herself a co-founder. Can you believe it? I'm just kidding. You're the best, honey!)

    2. EXPECTATIONS

    Expect full access, no hidden features, and no surprise charges. Expect to work anonymously. Expect everything to work fast and smooth. Expect to feed Kruiters easily with data. Expect to access data conveniently. Expect to have your work better organized.

    Don't expect to take advantage of analytics until some time has passed. Don't expect complicated software with features that overlap with other tools you're already using (e.g., LinkedIn).

    3. FAQ

    3.1. Is there a limit to the number of candidates, clients, vacancies, processes, or stages?

    Nope.

    3.2. Can I attach a cover letter or a document to a candidate?

    Yes. Attach up to 5 documents of any format. You can also attach documents to vacancies, such as the job description or a photo of your travel to Spain (if that helps you stay motivated).

    3.3. Can I import LinkedIn profiles?

    No. Shame on me! However, the only mandatory field is the candidate's name so you can track your candidate quickly.
