Q: How do I know what country a user is in?
1. I collect a mobile number what’s the best way to identify the user country?
2. Can I use an api to bring new user numbers on to the platform? If so can your platform segment them into their ‘countries’?
3. 24 hr window: does that mean if I send x3 messages in only get charged for one?

Thanks for reaching out! Let's tackle your questions one by one:
1. **Phone Numbers and Country Codes:**
It's essential to collect phone numbers with their respective country codes; otherwise, determining the country becomes a guessing game, and we're not in the business of crystal ball readings!
2. **Automatic Country Detection:**
When you upload contacts with country codes, our system automatically detects the destination country for each number. For a step-by-step guide on uploading contacts, check out this video: https://youtu.be/cc16TXTZzqs
3. **Message Charges Within 24 Hours:**
As of now, if you send multiple template messages within a 24-hour window, you'll be charged for each one. However, starting April 1 ( this date is changed and moved for later from meta ), 2025, utility templates sent within the 24-hour customer service window will be free.
On the bright side, if you receive an incoming message from a customer, you can reply for free within the 24-hour window.
I hope this clarifies things! If you have more questions or need further assistance, feel free to reach out anytime. Thanks again!
