Update: June 2024

The sequence feature is still not working! The bug I reported two months ago remains unresolved. The worst part is that they keep ignoring my feedback. Despite providing screen recordings and screenshots as requested, they insist it's working! I'm incredibly frustrated with this app. I purchased the top-tier plan with WL add-ons, but it's completely clunky. I cannot recommend this product, which appears to be managed by just a two-person team. Based on my experience, I've changed my rating to 1 star!

Update: April 2024

The sequence has a significant bug. First, it fails to send all the contacts you wish to share, limiting the maximum number to only 10 contacts, which is quite frustrating. Additionally, Ive setup a sequence includes 4 templates (contents) with different scheduled dates, but it turns out to be unreliable. Among the few contacts sent (out of the 10), all 4 templates (contents) were successfully scheduled for some, but for 80% of them, only 1 template (content) was scheduled, failing the test of "reliability." I suggest they focus on addressing this issue.

Additionally, the support team is slow to respond, and it often feels like you're being ignored. I’ve also encountered issues during integration between the WhatsApp number and the channel—it only displays a blank "white" page.

The support team’s response was to clear the cache, which doesn’t make sense since my client was using it for the first time. We experimented by trying a different browser, and after two hours, it finally worked. This same issue occurred when I first joined seven months ago, and it still hasn’t been fixed. For now, I’ll rate it 2 tacos until the sequence becomes fully functional.

By the way, I love the app! It still works well in campaign mode, but there are many tasks that could be much easier to handle using the sequence method.

It's been 3 months since I bought the product. I started with Tier 2 just to explore it. However, due to being a bit busy and unable to allocate much time, I refunded it. During the Black Friday deals, I repurchased it as Max Tier 4. So, what urged me to max out the tier? Simply put, my target audience uses WhatsApp, and I've found that the majority of major companies use WhatsApp for campaigns.

You can easily do the math by comparing the cost of Facebook/Instagram ads versus WhatsApp via Lance Pilot. Just imagine the possibilities: 1,000 messages (directly to the target audience) for 0.05 USD each (in my country) — that's only 50 USD compared to spending on Meta ads, which require extensive A/B testing and targeting/testing.

The key to this app is maintaining a healthy CRM record. I've managed to set up all of my contacts across my business in one CRM (SwipeOne) and then import it to Lance Pilot to run a campaign. On the other hand, I am now doing a cold outreach for local business owners by scraping lists of numbers from Google and plugging them into Lance Pilot. I hope for good results and am confident about it.

Here are the pros of the tools based on my experience:

1. CRM with unlimited contacts.
2. Template Campaign - A Meta-approved template where you can add "images" and direct CTAs to the campaign.
3. Potential to leverage as a service.

Cons:

1. No mobile app (still in progress) – The practicality of this tool relies on accessibility, allowing businesses to reply immediately using their phones.
2. Automated AI personalized replies – This could be a game-changer.
3. Clunky design – Some functions in the sidebar are a bit clunky.
4. Meta Verification – It is recommended to have a Meta-verified business, yet if you’re a non-techy owner, you might struggle to achieve it.

Suggestion: I would love to connect the Meta Business API to my website chat (anychat.one) and AI chatbot, like in Newoaks, and have one single Meta Business number API for all. This way, I would have a centralized number to collect leads.

Overall, I am satisfied, and I am keeping this app. They deserve five tacos. ♥
