Good but not Great, has potential but has too much focus on Launch CRM & other addon products
This is a good product that has great potential but it lacks in polish & completion. I have used it and it does for the most part work well for a truly Print on Demand shop but if you want to do subscriptions, or physical items you may want to be careful.
I have through multiple Q&A here before purchase and continue to read about how Launchcart is working on their Theme Editor, and Subscriptions, and etc but they still are not available. I was hoping after a year they would be but still show pending. You can review their own Launchcart Feedback website to see what has been posted there and when it was posted. https://feedback.launchcart.com/
They do have a Facebook group but it has a tendency to have a lot of promotion for persons who sell their website design services to other users or promote the Launchcart CRM or Launchcart Ads or Launchcart AI products sold separately. There does not seem to be an emphasis on developing the Launchcart Ecom features that the public wish to have. They do develop and improve the product it just seems as if they dont do the features that are most asked for by their members unfortunately. I am not sure if it is because then it will diminish the need for their other products they sell?
I also hope that in the future they also reduce the number of promo emails they send out to people when they join. When customers create accounts they automatically get weekly emails about all their other add on products every week, sometimes it is 4x per week, so be careful if you buy a higher Tier and have your clients under your account as a reseller as they will get a lot of emails unless they unsubscribe. It would be great if they can decrease that or at least upon signup as you if you want to be signed up for marketing emails and the volume than that would be acceptable.
It does have great promise so I am staying the course and will continue to use it as it does have value it just need to be improved upon & in a timely manner. Hopefully by 2025 this will be so. Overall if you need a basic ecommerce shopping software that saves you money with the 0% fee, you do digital products or pod then this would be a great fit just be very patient as many features are still pending after multiple years.

Nov 25, 2024Thank you for your feedback—it’s always helpful to hear from our users as we continue to improve. I’d like to address a few of your points to provide clarity and insight.
Subscriptions and Physical Products:
While we don’t currently offer subscriptions as part of the standard e-commerce plan, we’ve intentionally included this feature in our Launch CRM plan for $97/month. Many users find this approach valuable, as it combines advanced CRM capabilities with subscription functionality. In addition less than 5% of our eCommerce sellers have a need or would use subscriptions. Most are POD sellers and its just not a feature request we get very often.
That said, our platform fully supports selling physical products without any issues, so I’m unsure why caution was suggested here.
Theme Editor and Feature Development:
Developing a new theme editor and creating themes is a massive project. It will impack over 55,000 users, so we’re prioritizing enhancements that deliver immediate value while making steady progress on this front.
With our current page builder sellers can create a drag and drop hjome page and use this for the home page and this has satified 98% of all our sellers, which is anotehr reson why this this hasn’t been an immediate priority.
Facebook Group Promotions:
I’m unsure what specific promotions you’re referencing. We don’t allow users to promote website design services in our group. We do allow certified partners to post from time to time offfer DFY store builds but these posts are rare—if anything, you might see them once or twice a month.
As for promoting our other products, such as Launch CRM, Launch Ads, and Launch Academy, we aim to ensure our users are aware of the tools available to them. These products are designed to enhance their success, and we’re actively working on bundling them for a seamless experience.
Emails and Promotions:
We don’t send out four promotional emails per week. Most of our emails are focused on training opportunities, including Launch Cart, Launch Ads, Launch CRM and our challenges like the T-Shirt Challenge. If you feel overwhelmed by emails, there’s always the option to unsubscribe.
Regarding accounts created through higher-tier licenses, I believe those users are not automatically added to our system and, therefore, shouldn’t receive our emails.
Looking Forward:
I appreciate your patience and recognition of the platform’s potential. We’re excited about what’s ahead, including new integrations for print-on-demand and manufacturer-on-demand, ACH payments, merchant fee options for buyers, improved shipping features, and better tax calculations.
IMHO there is NO better deal onm the interent at $27 a month and these AppSumo deals are a STEAL!
We are basically giving away our software to gain users and brand recoginition.
