Not recommended, support not there. Contacted directly and through appsumo still no reply.
Tried contacting them since last year but still no reply through their official support email. Upgraded and never got access to full product.

As far as an upgrade you tried, not sure what yto say when we have no details, and I would think if you already had an account your upgrade would go through just fine.
