Updating my review from 3 tacos to 5 tacos.

When I first tested LaunchMyStore, I found the visual builder in the theme I tried too complicated. The editing experience felt harder than expected, especially compared with tools where you can work more directly in context and see what you are changing as you go.

That was the main reason behind my earlier 3-taco review and my UX/UI concerns around the front-end builder.

But I decided to give it another try, when they came back on AppSumo.

The team reactivated Codex MCP for my use case, and that changed the experience completely. I was not only able to vibe-code the front end I wanted based on my Figma design, but the MCP also understood what I was trying to achieve in the backend. It helped me build a more user-friendly visual builder experience inside the theme editor, which was exactly the part I was worried it would not be able to handle.

That matters.
It showed me that LaunchMyStore is not just shipping surface-level features. The team is actively improving the product, listening, and moving fast. Since the first launch, I have kept receiving email notifications about new drops and updates, so it is clear these guys have not been sitting on the couch playing games.

Support has also been quick and always available, which makes a big difference when you are testing and investing in a platform that is still evolving.

I still think AI credits should be included for AppSumo supporters, especially for early adopters who invested early and are giving real product feedback. That part still matters to me.

But overall, the product has improved, the team is responsive, and the Codex MCP workflow made the platform much more powerful than my first impression suggested.

I’m glad I gave it another try.

Changing my review from 3 tacos to 5 tacos.
All deserved.

Best and happy to take part of your journey,
Marcus

Marcus, this genuinely means a lot to us ❤️

And honestly, you were absolutely right about the concerns around LaunchMyStore 1.0. When we first launched, the builder and editing experience were still far from where we wanted them to be for a production-grade ecommerce platform, especially for users coming from more mature visual editing tools.

Your original feedback was fair, and feedback like yours is actually what pushed us to completely rethink LaunchMyStore from the ground up.

What many people do not know is that it took us almost 1.5 years to redesign and rebuild LaunchMyStore from scratch. We did not just patch a few things , we rebuilt the core architecture, created our in-house Aqua templating engine Powered By Liquid , redesigned the visual builder experience, improved performance, and shifted the whole platform toward an AI-first workflow.

There were countless late nights where our team was literally living inside code editors, rebuilding systems, testing ideas, breaking things, and rebuilding them again to create something that genuinely feels next generation instead of just another ecommerce platform.

That is why LaunchMyStore 2.0, launched in January 2026, became such a massive leap compared to 1.0.

What makes us happiest is hearing that Codex MCP changed your experience the way we hoped it would. Our vision has always been to remove manual complexity as much as possible. Today, almost everything inside LaunchMyStore can be done through AI, whether through Nova AI or MCP workflows — from vibe-coding storefronts to customizing backend functionality and even improving the builder UX itself.

For someone who experienced both versions firsthand, your words mean even more because you can truly feel how big the transformation has been.

we truly appreciate users like you who helped shape the product through honest testing and real feedback.

Thank you again for giving us another chance, Marcus. We are incredibly grateful to have you as part of this journey !
