I believe this product has strong potential and could be a valuable purchase at the moment, although it still requires several optimizations.

First, the UI/UX could use significant improvement. Navigation is confusing, with no tutorial or help menu to explain what each feature does. There are also smaller usability issues. For example, when searching for a country, results sometimes appear twice, and saving a search doesn’t seem to work properly.

Additionally, the “AI Research” section lacks clarity. It’s not clear what these "AI research Agent runs" actually represent or how they are used. They only appear within custom lists, making the process unnecessarily complicated. It would also help to clarify whether the 100 AI Research credits are provided monthly or as a one-time allocation.

Another limitation is the lead management feature. You can only add 100 leads per page, which makes it very time-consuming to collect a large number of leads in a Prospect List. For example, gathering 10,000 in a single day would require some time. I also assume that once a lead is unlocked, it remains accessible permanently and doesn’t need to be re-unlocked in the future.

Overall, I purchased the Tier 2 plan with an additional 100 AI Research credits and plan to keep it. I just hope the team continues to improve the dashboard’s usability and actively listens to user feedback, as the current design could benefit greatly from UI/UX refinements.

I’m loving the Laxis AI Prospect Research tool, especially the AI research feature. I used to waste hours manually digging through LinkedIn and news articles for signals, but now Laxis automatically researches every contact for me in seconds.

This product feels half-baked and not ready for a public launch.

The website and overall UX/CX are very poor compared to other tools on AppSumo. Navigation is confusing, the interface feels outdated, and the backend setup is disorganised and unintuitive. It’s frustrating to use and lacks basic polish.

Support is a serious issue. I emailed the team four times about a simple redemption/download problem. The emails were opened, but I received no response at all. No acknowledgement, no help. For a newly launched AppSumo product, that’s unacceptable.

Data quality is also questionable. After exporting and running the data through a separate verification tool, roughly 70% of the emails were invalid or bounced, which makes the data unreliable in practice.

Overall, this tool feels far below the standard of comparable AppSumo offerings. I wouldn’t recommend it in its current state.

I gave Laxis a try.

I am a Sales Lead for a Fintech company looking for prospects in Banking and Financial Services such as Heads of Compliance. I have tried a number of different seach criteria and cannot locate any leads. I was hopeful it would be flexible enough for my needs so purchased the tier 2 license. I will keep on trying and playing with it but so far it is a very confusing and not intuitive to find prospects in my sector. I was hopeful with 350m prospcts but so far not been useful for me. Even sorting by company name it is confusing. I also noticed Germany is not a country option in the search criteria. As I say for now I will keep on playing but it hasn't come up with anything useful for me unless someone at Laxis can show me
