Compliance focuses on data protection, not the physical location, ensuring no personal identifiable information (PII) of EU citizens is mishandled. 2/2
TheTykePLUSVinay, I wish it were as simple as you say, but having SCCs in place is just a start. Then, it comes down to due diligence and checking suppliers and processes, which is difficult when they are based in countries where it is hard to obtain and verify information. I have no issue with allowing my data, but I have to look at liability with client data and potential loss.
