I am considering asking for a refund because the single workspace is not suitable for my work
I have read previous answers that mentioned separating workspaces and considering the use of a custom domain. I have already purchased T4. In summary, everyone works in the same workspace and sees all the data. What I am looking for is to have separate workspaces and be able to invite teams into my own workspace or create workspaces for projects. I think you could sell LayerPath better than this. Right now, I am considering asking for a refund because the single workspace is not suitable for my work

Edited Dec 4, 2024Hello 7enkoy,
First, thank you for your detailed references. I’ve taken the time to reflect on your feedback. You’re right—we overcommitted to delivering certain features by Q3 and Q4 of 2024 during our launch. As the founder, I take full responsibility for this. At the time, we genuinely believed we could meet those timelines, but unforeseen internal challenges significantly impacted our progress.
Since then, our focus has shifted toward stability and performance over feature expansion. This decision wasn’t easy, but we felt it was the best way to ensure Layerpath’s long-term value. Shipping features without a stable foundation only creates more frustration, and as a small team, we had to make this tough call.
To be transparent, Q4 2024 has been dedicated to stabilizing the platform, improving performance, and addressing core usability issues. We plan to revisit feature delivery in Q1 and Q2 of 2025, including priorities like workspaces, desktop apps, and more.
I completely understand your frustration and why you feel let down. Your feedback is valid, and while we’ve shared updates in Q&As, https://appsumo.com/products/layerpath/questions/30-users-have-separate-logins-and-worksp-1258399/ emails, webinars, and live sessions, I acknowledge that promises made during launch can leave users with unmet expectations. As a founder, I assure you we’re learning and growing from these experiences, and our goal is to deliver sustainable value, not rushed features.
Leaving a 1-star review after detailed discussions and a refund feels unfair. Reviews should reflect overall value and transparency, not just unmet personal preferences. We appreciate your input and hope to earn your trust again in the future.
Thank you,
Vinay, Founder of Layerpath
