Amazing Lead Generation for the Price
For the price, the amount of leads is a crazy good deal. I recently learned of AppSumo, and honestly without this we would've had a hard time affording tools for our lead generation strategy.
LeadShark, one platform that I was recommended, for example, charges $0.4 per lead, which when multiplied by the number of leads of this deal (I got the plus exclusive that gives 7500 leads per month) would cost $3,000/mo. Instead, you get it for a lifetime for merely $69!!!! Granted, the platform is still maturing, but it shows plenty of progress and potential.
Pros:
-Unbeatable price.
-Large contact database, with contacts in every industry and country.
-Easy-to-use platform.
-Email validation, CSV export, list creation, LinkedIn Extension
Cons (more like a list of suggestions):
-Add keyword search for industry: currently, LeadRocks only lets you search for specific industries under a dropdown list (which is moderately large), however searching outside of this is rather hard, especially for niche audiences.
-More accurate and tailored data: currently, the emails returned by LeadRocks are messy and can require filtering (some contacts can have upwards of over 8 emails). It would be nice if there were an option to just export a single email (the one associated with its industry/current job associated with the industry/job in the search fields). Same thing with phone numbers.
-Improve the Email validation process: currently, you click "validate" and it will update your CSV file export with an extra column for the email status. However, you still need to filter out these emails from the CSV manually. It would be nice if contacts with invalid emails are updated or removed automatically.
-Domain search should return emails ONLY associated with that domain (or at least have the domain email in the first column). I was trying to get contacts from a specific university, and even the though all contacts had an email associated with that university, a big portion of them had a primary email in another domain, or otherwise had the domain search email in a second or third column, which was really tedious to fix manually.
-Duplicate check: Search results should not show contacts that have been "opened"/saved to a list.
They're also working on a cold emailing tool, which looks impressive, however, I am a bit worried they're trying to grow their offerings to quickly without refining what they already do well. My advice for the LeadRocks team would be to focus on making the best lead generation / prospecting tool, and then expand into cold emailing and outreach.
Bottom line: has a few quirks that can easily be overlooked by the price. I hope this tool grows and becomes very successful!
