I had a specific process for writing things (messages, mails, short or long form contents) . First, I use ChatGPT for voice transcription, then I paste the transcribed text into the default iOS Notes app as a scratch pad. After editing, I use Grammarly for checking grammar and rewriting to fix mistakes. Technically, I use three apps to write messages faster, which has been the fastest way (Yes, juggling three apps has been the fastest way) for me until now.

After grabbing this deal, I have replaced my previous three-app process with Letterly, which sits on the most accessible part of my mobile phone's home screen. This new app allows me to simply speak and jot down my thoughts, automatically restructuring my input. In fact, I'm using this app to write this review.

However, I have observed some areas that need improvement in the user experience:

1. UX when changing the tone or format settings after the first rewrite.
It took me some time to figure out where to tap to execute another rewrite after changing the settings by ticking the stars. (Maybe adding "Go" buttons could make it less confusing, just in my opinion.) It took time to figure out how the rewriting interface works as it seemed a little confusing to me.

2. How the app manages device count limits.
I'm particularly concerned about the licensing if I ever need to replace my old phone.

3. I would like a feature to rewrite the rewritten text.
I often edit the generated rewritten text by hand, deleting or adding words and rearranging paragraphs. I would like the app to be able to further process the revised version instead of processing the original transcribed text. It would be even better if I could process this manually modified text once or twice more.

Despite these minor issues, the app's functionality outweighs them. Overall, the app is working fantastic, and I believe the developers will address these minor issues in the future. I have already recommended this app to my friends. It's life-changing, especially if you spend a lot of time writing to many people while you feel that your actual job and life should not be centered around crafting texts.
