1 code 1 device unfair,Honestly, writing this thing with that one code and one device is seriously something that is very unfair. Even while recording, I think it only provides a 15-minute window. It seems to be a bit unfair, honestly. Web and Deskop app are considered different devices. Why?
1 code should work for 1 user across all devices. This isn't fair. How will we experience if your app works best then across?

I purchased Letterly today with a 1-device license, but I was honestly surprised by something that feels a bit unclear.

Does the license count my Windows desktop app as one device and the web version as another separate device/license? And would my phone also require a separate license?

Maybe I misunderstood how the licensing works, so I will test it for a few days and update my feedback. But if the web app, desktop app, and mobile app each require separate licenses, I personally think that would not be very logical or user-friendly.

Could you please clarify how the device/license limit actually works?

The app does what it promises, but the lack of a few basic features makes it hard for me to rate it higher than 3 stars.

- Automatically launch Letterly when Windows starts.
- Start minimized or hidden in the system tray.
- Ability to select a specific microphone. If I have multiple microphones connected to my computer, I should be able to choose which one Letterly uses instead of always relying on the Windows default.

It's unusual nowadays for a productivity application to require users to launch it manually after every reboot and close its window every time. Likewise, the inability to select a specific microphone is inconvenient for anyone who uses multiple audio devices.

The interface also feels a bit unusual. I honestly found it difficult to locate the settings, and I couldn't figure out where these options are configured, or if they even exist. A more intuitive and conventional settings layout would make the app much easier to use.

These are standard features that would make the app feel much more polished and convenient. If they are added in a future update, I'd be happy to increase my rating.

With all the voice transcription tools that I tried, Letterly is by far the best on multilingual stuff. I can confidently speak different languages without setting up the language, and it always gets it right, compared to some other competitors, which I have tried.

Also, what I like is the active community and the current improvements and feedback that the developers take. Shoutout to Anton!

The product is most strongest on Apple ecosystem where the features first launch, but the app is across all the platforms like Windows and Android, and even web!!

I bought Letterly from AppSumo and at first I was skeptical because some time ago I bought Speech to Note, which is somewhat similar. Although back then that app seemed extremely promising, over time it became very hard to use. I really didn’t like it.

To my surprise, Letterly is incredibly easy to use and works very well. That’s why it gets five tacos from me, and I hope the app at least maintains this level of quality and, for sure, doesn’t get overloaded with all sorts of unnecessary features.

What they’ve done so far is outstanding. They should keep it this way, keep it fast. Congratulations!
