Q: LiftOS is diying?

Apparently, the decision to discontinue LiftOS was made before May 16, 2025. What's a bit irritating is that LiftOS customers weren't proactively informed, either by AppSumo or by LiftOS. We migrated over 40 (!!!) projects to LiftOS this week. Does this definitely mean that LiftOS will be shut down?

Mmmhhh.... Quite bizarre - the information that appeared (from AppSumo) has disappeared 🤔

I asked in the LiftOS chat about the closure of the tool and this is the answer I got: "Hey there, no we arent shutting down we are just slowing development of new features. We continue give support and maintain the platform. Please let me know if I can assist you in any way 🙏"

Thanks for this update! Anyway, a software that does not get new features is not an option in this world of everyday-new-tech-upcoming. We changed (back) to app.blue.cc to work sustainably. We can't move our 50+ customers each year to a different platform. It's a real pity. What we are missing the most is the inclusion of Google Workspace...

Is there anything to be afraid of?

Don't know - not even 1 word from AppSumo side or even from liftOS. I am a bit concerned since a few weeks... Therefore we had to move away from liftOS 🫣

And to be honest: the most disappointing fact is that AppSumo didn't inform us actively although we have the product in our AppSumo product archive 🤔 that's not affecting our trust in a positive way 😕

There's no clear message yet. We have no idea of the context around "slowing down development". But if I were to read between the lines, I would be cautious and backup my data just in case.
