Already incredibly useful, and they’re only getting started
I’ve used all sorts of focus and productivity tools such as Worklenz, Asana, Trello, Notion, etc, but each of those had something that was sorely lacking or was overcomplicated (or distracting) to use (I’m looking at you, Notion!).
LiftOS is super simple to work with, and while being customizable like Notion, it has a sense of structure that Notion lacks that has helped me prevent getting lost in tinkering like I am so prone to do. With the introduction of LiftBrowser (the MacOS native app), it works with and can embed just about every web app my businesses use. I can set up separate spaces with just the tools I need to get each of my responsibilities knocked out while staying focused.
I can’t talk about LiftOS without mentioning Ege. His passion for this project is on full display, and his approach to building improving LiftOS is one of the best experiences I have had with ANY AppSumo app, hands down. New features — big, game changing ones mind you — are getting pumped out at a mind blowing pace with very little in the way of bugs or lack of functionality. For example, one of the LiftOS’s native apps they built recently was a whiteboard app, and honestly I’ve paid good money for idea sharing and whiteboard apps with less functionality. I only just learned (through exploring the whiteboard interface) that not only can you make flowcharts in mermaid code, but it makes the flowcharts using the whiteboard’s components, meaning you can use mermaid to start the process and teak it manually as you develop your thoughts.
I’m super stoked to have come across LiftOS, and went for the max tier after less than a week of using it since I realized I’d be putting it to good use moving forward. I’m super excited for the teased Calendar app + Google Calendar integration which is rumored to drop soon, as this would lock LiftOS in as the core of our team tech stacks. I’ve already started recommending it to my peers to implemente into their own workflows with a couple showing similar enthusiasm when I demoed some of my spaces.
I look forward to seeing where LiftOS goes! Thanks Ege for creating the all-in-one solution I had always hoped for. This is my first AppSumo review for good reason, as you built something truly amazing!!
