Q: Clarification on Lifetime Deal Features (Scheduling, Posting, Storage)

Hi,
Can you clarify if the lifetime deal includes storage, scheduling/planning, and automated posting of content to a connected LinkedIn account? I’m also a bit confused about the 10% discount on scheduled posts, since I couldn’t find any pricing details for scheduling on your site—only information about purchasing extra credits for additional posts, etc.
If saving, scheduling, and posting aren’t included, I think this would be a dealbreaker for many buyers.
Thanks!

A: Hi Moritz,

Storage, planning are included. We don't do automated posting even for our monthly subscription users. All actions are user-triggered by design. Full automation is not something we do nor plan to include since it'd put the user and our app in violation of LinkedIn's ToS.

It's basically just the scheduling module that is gated. It has a recurring cost to us, and to speak transparently, not our USP. For users who are primarily interested in a LinkedIn post scheduler, I recommend Buffer, or LinkedIn's native scheduler.

We basically made an add-on available, specifically for LTD users so that if they want it.. they can use it. It's $4/month billed annually; we pretty much charge 10% less than the list price we pay for this module.

Absorbing this cost in the LTD was simply .. not sustainable for us. Which indeed makes it a dealbreaker for many, but .. I have to live with that reality to serve the ones who are interested in the post generation, analytics, comments, basic CRM, inspirations saving, converting articles/newsletters/youtube videos into posts, and dozens of other features.

I hope this provides some background into why the deal is structured this way.

Cheers,
Junaid

Hi Junaid,
Thanks for the quick reply.
Just to confirm: I can create, save, and keep draft posts, but I’m not able to plan/schedule a post in advance in a calendar view—even if I intend to post it manually on that day. Showing posts in a calendar-type setting would cost an additional $4 per month. Is that correct?

Founder

Yes, 90% accurate. A few more details:

- Calendar view isn't available even with the add-on (it's a feature we don't have, but will be added in Q4; it's currently in development).
- You can "Publish Now" any post from your drafts without the add-on.
- "Schedule for Later" is essentially what requires the add-on.

Great, now it makes sense. You can save and publish any post directly from the app. It’s just that if you want to use a “Publish Later” button instead of “Publish Now” to have the post go live—for example, 5 hours later or at the time that’s best for your account according to the insights—you’ll need the add-on.
Now it’s clear—thanks for explaining.

That's 100% accurate, happy to have been able to help, Moritz. Looking forward to your feedback about the app once you've taken it for a test drive :-)

Cheers and have a great rest of your day,
Junaid
