Q: Multiple company accounts and 1 personal page (I manage multiple products)

so can you advise how best to set up, buy a code per page and set up independently or post on personal and send to company pages?

A: It's a very .. tough question to answer and you'll see why when you read my answer.

I'm just going to all the facts/strong opinions out first and then use them in my recommendation at the end.

1. LinkedIn Company Pages don't get much reach on posts. At least not comparable to the potential reach you can get from a 'personal profile' (almost a 5 to 10X difference). But it's not useless either.

2. Comments from company pages stand out (because 99% comments on others posts would be from personal profiles).

3. A profile view on company page has far higher value than a profile view on your individual profile (because the former is most likely transactional, the latter is in majority cases casual).

Above were facts/opinions about LinkedIn, the below ones are about LiGo:

1. You don't need a separate LiGo account to comment via Company page. Because extension has a sidebar, so you can just do the "profile switch" on linkedin itself and drop the comment as company.

2. For generating posts + analytics, and publishing/scheduling (the latter is an add-on), you need a separate ligo account for each. For instance, if you have:

- 3 company pages
- 1 personal account

that you want to manage via LiGo, you're going to need 4 LiGo accounts.

3. If you have multiple LiGo accounts, you can manage them all quite easily using our "Delegation" feature. Using the above #2 as an example:
You could pick one ligo account of yours as the "primary" and invite it as a delegate to all the others. Then, you can just do profile switching with a single click. Note: Delegation is for Tier 3 codes only.

4. Showcase pages are not supported (they might be supported in the future if there's huge demand, but so far not in the roadmap). Company pages are fully supported, but are in "early access".

------

After writing this, I have a slight feeling that I might have misunderstood and expanded the scope of your question but .. I still hope it would be helpful. Last part was the strategy/recommendation in case you were looking for that:

- If I were to post, I'd prioritize activating my personal profile first - and tag my company page in the CTAs + repost the personal posts via company page (only those which are "thought leadership" or "value-driven" posts, not personal stories),

- I'd try and hire a VA from fiverr/upwork; train them to use LiGo to drop comments in my style (via company + profile profile). Training would take about .. 2-3 hours for you but the gains are massive (I've done that for twitter, about to repeat this for linkedin)

- Then, I'd start posting directly via company pages but ideally infographics + carousels with very transactional CTAs,

- Once the posts start getting some views, I'd upgrade Company Page to "LinkedIn Premium Page" subscription, it's $99/month but pays for itself.

- LiGo can help with posts + the "text" part of Carousels, that a VA could easily turn into Carousels via Canva (I have seen about a dozen users do that, so very likely that a big number is doing the same)

- Should you get separate codes of all of your company pages or not?
This is why I called the overall question tough, because I don't like giving recommendations with a transactional intent. But let me try.

If you ever in the future plan to activate the company pages (for posts & analytics), get them - even if you don't use them for the next 5-6 months. Because Company Page support is only available for Pro users (and that plan is $76/month, and will be $99 in 6 months). Since this is an LTD, I'd .. probably have went for it.

But, simply "reposting" your personal posts also suffices for company pages if you don't plan to go that deep into marketing ever. In that case, you'd only ever need LiGo for the comments as company. For that, you can just use the personal profile linkedin ligo account for comments; since it lives in the browser (extension). No need to buy multiple codes in this case.

That's all I could think of.

Please feel free to ping me on LinkedIn later; be happy to chat more on this.

Cheers,
Junaid
