Q: Re-posting question as it was not answered previously.

Hi there.

I have now tested the new Client Portal capability.

But not quite doing what i thought it should do:

1. When client logins into his account, is unable to create its own assets. So the way i see it now, is that unless me (general admin) creates the assets for the client first, the client will not be able to create his own assets or manage his own assets.

That´s a big problem. When the Client logs into his client portal, client should be able to create assets from scratch and manage them too, both.

Is that not possible?

2. My understanding is that there would be a CNAME for the agency (i have unlimited agency plan). So it would be something like "xyz.mydomain.com". And then, the client portals and client logins would be accessed by clients via "xyz.domain.com".

But the way i see it working is with the Linkjoy url only, and not a full agency CNAME for all client portals-clients.

3. Email invitations to clients arrive from Linkjoy, and unable to customize this so when i send invites to invite clients to join their customer portal, i want it to arrive from my agency domain and brand, not linkjoy´s.

Please answer to each point to understand, thanks.

A: Hi Info6471,

Great questions.

About Client Portal allowing your clients to create assets - It's now possible. We launched Client Portal V2 few days back. More on this here --> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P6NzSHqwsm4

About hosting the portal on your domain and customising email SMTP --> unfortunately, that will not be possible since we are not offering whitelabelled client portal. No plans of Linkjoy offer that. As of now, we do not have on the roadmap and are strongly considering not offering it in the future as well.

However, for some reason, if we end up changing that stance, I can confirm to you here that it will be included in your plan.

Does this answer your questions?

Best,
Yash.
