Q: I have a question about translation.

My company does business with customers from all over the world, but our staff only speaks English. I understand the LA interface is available in many different languages, but I don't see any option to enable live translation via a Google Translate integration. Our current live support solution offers this integration as do many of your competitors, including Crisp, LiveZilla, etc... Is this something you're planning to support in the near future? It seems like it would be pretty easy to integrate.

The idea is that your chat widget would automatically detect the user's language either via browser headers or IP address and non-English messages would be passed through Google Translate. Likewise, when the agent replies, his replies would be passed through GT prior to being displayed on the customer's side, so the customer would see the messages in his language and the agent would see the messages in his language.

we have had similar chat today, so it might be you requesting this feature there.

We are aware of this improvement. The reason we didn't work on this so far is that it didn't get that much attention from our current customers until now.

We will definitely consider it!
