Security concerns & Buggy
Product refunded. A lot of bugs mentioned in reviews from 2024 and earlier still exist. A new one popped up while I was using it and was there for a month, making the local grid useless. The new bug would see certain points on the "local grid" with red dots saying your business was ranked 20+....because it was looking at rankings of your business in other cities around the world and not the local area. My business was in Brisbane, Australia, while the local grid was comparing it to businesses in New York...
Security issue - Whenever there was an issue with Local Ranking Captain, someone from support would confirm the issue saying "I've logged in to your account to have a look" and then send a screenshot of my admin panel. So that also means staff have full access to your account, and with the admin panel having the ability to change anything about your GBP means staff can change it, thus security of your GBP is reliant on Ranking Captain's security after connecting it.
Many of the promised features didn't work either, such as preventing changes to your GBP profile being made.

We want to confirm that the issue regarding the local grid (where Brisbane was being compared to New York) has been fully identified and resolved. It was a synchronization error in our coordinate mapping which has now been fixed.
Regarding your security concerns: we take data privacy very seriously. Our support team has the ability to view your internal dashboard specifically to diagnose technical issues and provide "over-the-shoulder" assistance. This is a standard procedure in SaaS to ensure we see exactly what the user sees, but we understand how this might have felt intrusive.
