A: Sorry it won't be added due to database protection laws that the UK has. Yell UK was part of the program many years ago but they took legal action to have it removed.

I’m getting ERR_TUNNEL_CONNECTION_FAILED errors when the scraper tries to open Google Maps quick using an ISP proxy (whitelisted). The issue is not the program itself, but the proxy. Please add instant Google Maps page reload on failure, since proxy fails seem unaviodable. Currently, the program skips that ZIP+keyword line as if no results appeared. (but when i search that ZIP it shows good business data to be scraped). I don't use headless browsing, to help load the google maps. I run 20 ZIP + 20 keywords, and i get 13-16 Excel files of results. I have to run 1-2 more batches of ZIP+keyowrds at the end of the day (with the failed searches) to make sure i scrape everything. Also, change the fixed WAIT time to a random delay (7–10 sec) to prevent repeating actions at exact intervals and make the scraper behave more human-like.
Hey Grant, could you clarify what type of data can be scraped with “Quick” targeting? For instance, with Google Quick scope targets, what do we get, and what’s not part of the data it pulls compared to “Full”? Just trying to figure out if I would really need proxy for my use case of scraping local businesses listings for a niche online directory.
I want to scrape google maps full +email/social media finder. 1 thread, 8-10 sec wait. I want to have 3-5 copies of localscraper open on my PC, that way I can scrape multiple keywords at once. Q: does each copy of the localscraper program has to have individual proxy? Does it have to go trough IP authentification (IP whitelisting) Most importantly: what type of proxy do you recommend for this specific use-case?
