Q: Can I scrape regular company websites with this
So we're looking to find leads in the broker world and would like to collect the details of brokerage companies who might otherwise not be on Google Maps or a directory. Is this possible and what are the limitations to keep in mind

A: Sorry but the scraper only supports the sites listed as supported. You wouldn't be able to scrape the internet for companies like you asked about, you would only be able to scrape from the google maps because that is a supported site.
The tool does seem to be outdated; general contractors/businesses have moved to these platforms, and those platforms have people who are willing to spend on their marketing.
Are there any plans to add support for these?

A: A few of these have gone in and out of LocalScraper over the years. We had HomeAdvisor in the past and then they redesigned their website and removed ALL business details except for a few paid results. Making their data completely useless and inaccessible. HomeAdvisor only makes money if you hire a contractor through their leads funnel. They have done everything possible to remove any business...
Just checking in if I bought lifetime access to the software. I bought it a year ago, and this price here is $90, and the website cost is $30 for a year.
However, Appsumo just says 1-year deal, and it wouldn't be logical for it to be 3x the price than on the website?

A: The program on our website is $19.99 per month, I am not sure where you found a $30 per year but I think you have confused either the wrong product or the wrong website. LocalScraper has never been priced at $30 per year. The AppSumo deal is for a 1 year license for $99 and will auto expire after your year is completed. Can we get MCP/API access so we can scrape via Claude for easier work?

A: The program has a API for local use by Ai Agents on your system. Basically the program can be run via command line arguments and has a JSON webhook to report completed projects and results sending. This allows you to use local scheduling, scripts, or Ai Agents such as OpenClaw or Hermes Agent to run the program for you, have it monitor for the webhook for completion and you can have it then use...
I don't know about AppSumo, it depends how long they let me stay. But I will say that if you make a single purchase here and want to renew at the same yearly pricing you can do so. I will grandfather all AppSumo customers into the same yearly pricing for as long as they like. When you AppSumo license expires my server will auto email you a offer to renew at the same pricing.
