Received email from Dev asking to write a review for honest opinion on coming back to App Sumo
Okay, so I purchased the highest Tier 3 after being made to believe that would be it. LTD believers would be ‘looked after’ because we believed early and took a chance on a fledgling company right at the start with our hard earned money. Now, I am a light user… definitely haven’t gotten my moneys worth… and now I’m being told my top-tier is no longer good enough and I have to pay more? Subscribe? I really feel betrayed by App Sumo and this Dev. A little bait and switch to me. Now I do understand costs, but shouldn’t new customers and subscriptions be off-setting LTD users? I dunno..: I’m just really disappointed about all this. Dev… I know you are trying… but you have to look after those who believed in you to invest in your vision and product.

But please know this: your lifetime plan still includes everything promised - full platform access, the Team Dashboard, uploads, folders, and your two extra Tier 1 seats. Nothing has changed there.
We’ve added new AI models (GPT‑5, Opus 4, Gemini Pro 2.5) as optional tools for anyone who wants to explore them. These are extras, not replacements. Your plan continues to give you full value, exactly as it always has, while giving the community new ways to grow if they choose.
