In comparison to competition this seems pretty much useless
I really wanted to like it and I do understand that products on AppSumo are often in their infancy. I understand that there might be bugs that teams need to weed out and that there might be features missing and you buy into the future of what the software can become... I gave it a shot but I can't see myself using it in the long-term knowing that there are alternatives out there that may cost me a bit more but they will save my time and sanity. Let me list just a few frustrations:
1. When I'm setting up the profile, I have to always manually tinker with all the settings, follow the videos, and double-check if my footprints are safe... in short, waste my time. When I use other multi-account stealth browsers, they offer simple presets, and by default suggested boxes are ticked, so less technical people don't have to go bonkers
2. When your profile opens, it starts with Google.com and there's no way to change it. Google.com in this browser fails to load 9 out of 10 times scaring the crap out of me. At first, I thought, the proxies aren't working... just to realize that they are properly set up and if I open another tab and try to go to Google - it works. This leads me to the next, pretty much my biggest frustration.
3. Profiles do not store my browser state with opened tabs etc. Next time I open the profile, guess what... it opens Google.com not the pages that I was working on earlier. When I asked support, they pointed me to the 'restore' option that allows restoring previous pages. Well, better than nothing but it is just not a great user experience...
4. Licensing is set up so that you can't simply switch computers like other software do (I can use it on my desktop OR my laptop but not both at the same time). If I want to switch between computers, I'd have to buy multiple licences and manually export/import profiles which is another way of wasting time and money, when other solutions out there are using the cloud to store profiles, and you can simply add a team member who can start using profile pretty much immediately.
5. Support is slow. You are pretty much guaranteed to receive the first response "I don't have this information handy. Please wait for the technician" kind of reply and then wait. Well, I pay a lot of money for private proxies, which means waiting costs me money.
6. The browser itself is extremely crude and basic. I don't know what's the reason why developers decided to build it from scratch but at the moment it means, you are using a browser that has close to nothing in terms of functionality. Competition usually fork either Chromium or whatever open-source software powers Firefox (I forgot but you can Google it). I can't use most of the traditional keyboard shortcuts and the functionality is very close to 0.
Anyway, at the moment, I will stop wasting my time trying to adapt to this and ask for a refund. If developers are listening to feedback, I'd suggest, stop reinventing the wheel! Look at the competition, and learn.
