Q: I primarily use Microsoft 365 to manage my work.
However, I am intrigued by this product and would like to test it out with a google account that I don't use much. Based on this context, could you please answer a few queries I had?
1. Can I switch my license to a Microsoft account once you add support for Microsoft/office365/outlook accounts? Are there any issues I should anticipate with my Loopin functionality or my plan limits if I do such a transfer?
2. Do you anticipate any features in loopin remaining Google-only or will all features be available for Microsoft accounts as well when you start supporting it?
3. Like any other SaaS provider, I assume you may not be able to support every integration that users ask (Like Zapier, Make, ClickUp and 100s of other solutions). Instead, do you plan to offer API access as well as webhooks, so that users can both, read as well as write data to loopin from any tool of their choice (Since most platforms allow generic HTTP calls and webhook triggers)?
4. How do you handle user data? Does the user have full access to download all data in the loopin platform, including attachments or are they locked in to the platform?

May 14, 2024A: Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.
1. Switching accounts is Appsumo dependent, so we won't be able to switch your account to Office 365.
2. All features will work with Microsoft. We are also working on adding integrations with more products in the MS ethos - Jira, Confluence, MS Teams, Outlook, etc.
3. Yes, API access is on the roadmap as well. You can see all features on our public roadmap here: https://roadmap.loopinhq.com
4. Data export is not possible at the moment. However, you can export your notes via email, PDF, Slack, Notion, etc., so you're not tied to them on being in Loopin only. All data is encrypted, and you can request data/account deletion at any time.

Thank you for your responses. What would you recommend for someone who subscribed to the AppSumo Looping plan, but is waiting for Microsoft 365 support? If I use a Gmail ID to sign up, I'll not be able to change it later, but if I don't sign up now, I have no clear ETA from you on when you'll have Microsoft 365 support and I'll probably be stuck without the option for a refund.
