The mail verification api is very subpar. It does not check for deliverability (which is the hard part). Just about anyone can check MX and DNS records with a simple Python script from ChatGPT.
I sent them an email regarding this issue, and they have not gotten back to me.
So, that's bad customer service as well. Now I am skeptical as to how good the rest of their offerings really is.
