I have to say, this hosting service is running for me 3 years, while many other (lifetime) hosting plans have gone out of business. Having at the moment several websites there, and I could not be happier. Okay, there are times when I wish the performance would be better, but hey it's shared hosting and if you use WP then WP Rocket might help. ;) Anyway, thanks to the founder and support to keep it alive for hopefully another 3+ years. 🙏

⭐ 1 Star – Just for the Support Team (or lack of it)

I’ve been with MakersHost for 3 years, and it’s really sad to write this. Their support has become almost impossible to reach.

There’s no proper way to escalate issues, no helpful replies, and the instructions they give are often outdated or unclear. Even serious problems like site downtime are ignored.

The hosting might work fine sometimes, but if something breaks, you’re completely on your own. This 1 star is only for their support — or what’s left of it.

I really hope they fix this, but right now it feels like they’ve stopped caring about their customers.

Urgent:

Has the company gone bankrupt by now? I raised a technical error ticket on 17/04/2024. They requested my AppSumo code, provided on 18/04/2024. On 24/04/2024, they asked for a screenshot confirming code redemption, which I promptly sent. Radio silence for days now from technical support. Urgent response needed as my website has been hosted here for two years since the AppSumo purchase.

The support is good, helped me to migrate from my old server to my makerhost account, done professionally and quick manner. The server performance is so far is good. Thanks
