Q: Hi there, quick question.

is there an option to automatically see who has low activity? For example with timedoctor it will say 10% low activity screenshots for example. Is this possible as well?

next to that, does it track clicks and keystrokes and can you see the amount of keystorkes/clicks per screenshot for example, just like timedoctor?

What are the pro's VS timedoctor and what are the Con's VS timedoctor?

i am thinking of switching everything to your software.

A: Hi. Currently, we don't count the number of clicks and mouse moves. We will be adding something like this shortly and are thinking about how to do it best. So, you are welcome to share your thoughts (send them to our support). The problem is that for many businesses, the number of clicks cannot serve as an indicator of productivity. Plus, when we talk about percentages, we should understand what 100% would be like. In your example about 10% of activity, what would be 100%?

We don't have a list of cons and pros compared to other software. What I can tell you is that our product is quite advanced and includes a lot of features. We're adding more (there will be a major update soon, but don't tell anyone yet ;)). Of course, it would be best just to try it.

Employees can see their time with summaries, missing time, etc. But there is no way to export their time unless they have manager privileges.

ANd another question: can the employee itself see the time worker for the week? And for example download a report weekly to send to us or their clients?

thanks for letting me know, but I thought i read keystrokes/mousemoves somewhere? Because it's indeed true that clicks/keyboard movements are not always an indicator of productivity, but it depends on the role. This is one of the most crucial functions i use to assess how productive they "try" to be in timedoctor. I thought you had something similar. so there is no activity like that that is tracked? Because i want to move everything over to trackabi, but only if we can somehow asess if someone is productive in the hours worked besides which sites they are on. I can't see if someone is actually productive by only screenshots/website tracking unfortunately.

We do track user activity, of course. We don't count the number of clicks but we track if a user was doing something (mouse moves or keystrokes). On our homepage https://trackabi.com you can scroll to the "Intelligent Time Tracking On Your Desktop" section and there you will see the desktop app with a timeline. On the timeline, you can see user activity (the bottom bar). There is no number of clicks, but there are applications used.

Hi Andriy, the tool looks very promising. In the past we had the issue that an employee had a "Click-Simulator". Means an app running on his desktop which was simulating mouseclicks and keyboard hits. Having something like tracking the "mouse moves" would help a lot to identify something like that because if someone clicks 1000 times but doesnt move the mouse, that would be suspicious.

You can already see the breakdown of the activity score which shows the score for the mouse and keyboard separately. It's in the Insights section below the timeline where it shows the activity score chart. Hover it to see the details.

Hi Andriy, thanks for the answer. I understand what you are saying. The problem in here is that mouseclicks as well as keyboard hits can get simulated and there are a lot tools out there to do so. Recording each of them separately and displaying it does not resolve this issue. However, simulators which do simulate a movement of a mouse are not existing as far as I know.

They do exist, but I won't advertise any of them here. So, you're suggesting separate statistics for mouse clicks and mouse moves? I would appreciate it if you could contact our support and share your ideas including explaining a bit about the nature of your business. It's necessary to understand better why such a precision of monitoring is needed. You still can check screenshots and the results.
