Disappointed with Trackabi – Manual Calculations Required

Adding stuff here as the founder decided to call me a liar. On September 6 you responded to me saying: Hello Cesar,

It's not calculated automatically because the difference between the start and end time is not always the same as the time worked because there can be pauses.

Originar Review: I had high hopes for Trackabi, but unfortunately, it fell far short of my expectations. One of the core features I needed was accurate and automatic calculation of hours worked. Shockingly, Trackabi doesn’t do this—it leaves you to manually calculate everything yourself.

This completely defeats the purpose of using a time-tracking tool. Isn’t automation the whole point? I don’t have the time to sit with a calculator to figure out my team’s hours, and frankly, there are other apps out there that offer this functionality seamlessly.

As it stands, Trackabi feels incomplete and, dare I say, useless for anyone who needs real-time, hassle-free time management. I regret my purchase and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone until they fix this glaring issue.

Nonsense. You say black is white. Have you even used it? Trackabi has a dashboard with summaries for time worked and time billed and data per client and project. There is a very detailed Insights section where you can view total logged time, wages based on employee rates, billable time, and billable amounts for the entire account and per user. You can also use filters in the timesheet to get the specific data you need for periods you need including time, wages, and billable amounts. What you’ve written is completely untrue.

UPD: Regarding your additional citation of our support's reply. I'm sorry but I didn't call you a liar. I told that what you have written made no sense. You have written that there was no automated hours calculation and anyone who uses Trackabi has to use a calculator for everything, which is nonsense. In fact, you wanted to complain about your particular use case where you add start and end times manually for each employee. BTW, how is that automation and real-time time management? Why not to use the timer? Anyway, our support explained that since in each time entry in general case there can be idle time we couldn't just calculate the difference between the start and end times. It's more complex than that. Interesting that feature has been added a while ago to address your concern. In the time entry add/edit popup when you enter start and end times, the system calculates the total time logged and also shows it in the timeline.
