Trackabi is an awesome cloud-based application that includes a desktop widget for time tracking and staff monitoring. I provide services as a recruiter and project manager and have been a long time user of Time Doctor. I am searching for a cost effective viable alternative. My current solution is a crude system, that requires bouncing between several applications to assign tasks, monitor projects, and manage staff. It works but it isn't pretty.

Employee monitoring is a curse and a blessing. It can be invasive but also offers a ton of insight as to why projects or tasks may not be completed in time or ideas for efficiency.
There are many apps that provide time tracking, very few offer screen monitoring or kb/m activity. If you require screen monitoring, choices are limited.

Trackabi promotes a very interesting idea through gamification. I haven't seen another time tracking system include gamification. I am looking forward to integrating this, but to be honest, I'm not completely sure how. Do I just create some goals and attach a bonus to them? Sounds straightforward but I would like to have an idea on how to introduce the idea, along with the type of goals/rewards to include. This isn't a fault of Trackabi. I'm happy the gamification feature is included.

The user interface is very easy to use and the application is very stable. This is a great application for small to medium sized teams. Larger teams, may require the ability to manage from an app along with more reporting options. Trackabi has all the bells and whistles needed without being overly complicated. Trackabi provides a comprehensive dashboard that allows me to view all of our projects, tasks and timesheets in one place.

Other solutions may offer more features, but there is plenty in Trackabi. It will be replacing several apps that I am currently using. I am extremely looking forward to seeing how Trackabi continues to develop.
