To answer your questions:

Proxy support — Unfortunately, our API does not currently support proxies. All rendering requests are made directly from our servers without the option to route them through a proxy.
Pre-configured proxy by ID — Since we don't have proxy support at this time, a useproxyid parameter or similar reference system isn't available either.

That said, this is great feedback — we've noted it as a feature request for our team to consider in future updates. If this is something enough users need, it could definitely make it onto our roadmap.
