An Outstanding Social Media Platform That Keeps Getting Better

Marky has become a genuinely outstanding tool for social media content creation, planning, and scheduling. What I value most is that it has not stood still. The platform has clearly evolved over time, and the team seems to listen carefully to user feedback, fixing issues and improving the product continuously.

I remember when Marky was much more focused on predefined templates, stock images, brand assets, and Pexels content. That was already useful, but the platform today is on a completely different level. The AI integration has transformed it into a far more complete and powerful solution, especially for anyone who wants to create, organise, and publish social media content without jumping between ten different tools.

One area where I understand the limitations, even if I would still like to see more, is AI credits. Image generation, video generation, and LLM chat usage all have real costs behind them, so I completely understand why AppSumo users cannot receive unlimited credits as if they were standard monthly subscribers. That would probably make the project financially unsustainable.

Still, it would be great to receive at least a small recurring credit allowance. We were given a limited pool initially, but it has not been renewed since. Fortunately, the team reacted quickly by implementing Bring Your Own Key, and that makes a huge difference.

Being able to use our own API keys for image and video generation is excellent. I can bring my own models into the workflow, including newer options such as Nano Banana 2 for images and Veo 3 for video, which gives much more flexibility and keeps Marky useful even when the included credit system is limited.

I would now love to see even more freedom in the model selection. In particular, it would be fantastic to have access to more image, video, and LLM models through BYOK, including models such as ImageGPT 2. Since OpenRouter often provides different pricing options and model availability, more choice would allow users to optimise costs, quality, style, and output depending on the content they are creating. Different projects need different models, and more flexibility here would make an already excellent platform even stronger.

Another feature I really appreciate is AI Chat Mode, which was implemented some time ago and adds real value to the content creation workflow. But for me, the real cherry on top is the MCP API.

The MCP integration is a major step forward. It allows me to connect Marky with my own cloud agents, Hermes, OpenClaw, and other AI workflows, then interact with many Marky features in real time. This opens the door to genuinely powerful automations, especially for users who want to build more advanced content operations instead of relying only on a traditional dashboard.

At the moment, though, there is still an important opportunity for improvement. Some MCP endpoints do not yet expose the full intelligence of the Marky platform. I can use my own agent to handle the reasoning and then use MCP to access Marky’s scheduling and operational capabilities, which is useful, but I would love to go further.

Ideally, I would be able to use an endpoint that lets my OpenClaw or Hermes agent communicate directly with Marky’s own AI, content generation logic, image workflows, and internal intelligence. That would allow external agents and Marky to work together as one connected system, instead of forcing all the intelligence to sit outside Marky while only the publishing and scheduling functions are accessed through MCP.

That said, the direction is absolutely right, and the team has already shown that they move fast and genuinely care about improving the product. Their support is excellent, the people behind the platform are friendly and approachable, and they are consistently present and helpful.

Overall, this is a five star experience for me. Marky is already a very capable platform for social media management, and it keeps improving in meaningful ways. I hope the team continues building, expanding the BYOK options, adding more AI model flexibility, and exposing more of the platform’s intelligence through MCP. I genuinely believe Marky has a very strong future ahead!!

Not what we signed up for

The platform has changed numerous times with no communication to subscribers. Now, credits are needed to create designs. There are no longer templates, so it appears you are forces to purchase credits.

Support is non existent. There is no human that joins the chat (despite the "some from our team will be with you shortly" message). You do not approve FB posts on your page, and barely provide updates on your page.

We purchased the LTD so we would save time. Over the past year, this platform has become so time consuming, and with each update/change comes more time needed since there is no communication with subscribers. We are just thrown into the platform to figure it out ourselves.

It started with a simple, effective interface, and has become a completely different product with a horrible U/X.

Change of plans?

If you now want to sell credits, the least you can do is give us the option to use our own API key; this completely changes the purpose of the initial sale, imposes excessive usage limits, and renders the tool practically inefficient, as it generates a lot of content unrelated to the project we created.

A well-designed and efficient content workflow tool, with strong visuals and automation — but AI features that still need refinement.

--->> Overall impression:
At this stage, I am very satisfied with Marky. The overall quality of its features is high, and the tool feels solid and well designed.

--->> What I Value Most
1. Visual creation & templates
The biggest strength for me is not AI text generation, but the ability to quickly create professional visuals using pre-built templates. The process is fast, intuitive, and efficient.

2. Workflow & publishing system
Marky is well thought out in terms of workflow.

- Easy post editing and review
- Clear draft management
- Organized “post tank” for scheduling
- Multi-platform publishing and automation

Other tools offer similar features, but here everything works smoothly and remains simple. It’s not overloaded — it focuses on what matters.

--->> AI Capabilities – Mixed Experience
While AI is a major selling point of the platform, my experience has been different:
The generated content is not strong enough to publish without manual editing.
Even when I provide detailed instructions and context, the AI does not consistently follow them.
When I work directly with ChatGPT outside of Marky, the results are significantly better and more aligned with my expectations.
For now, I prefer creating my content in a dedicated AI conversation where I can fully control quality and output.

--->> Concerns About Credits & AI Expansion
I am slightly concerned about the increasing focus on AI features, especially with the addition of Markimax.
I tested it, and the results did not meet my expectations.
It consumes a large number of credits.
This creates tension with the original lifetime deal promise, since intensive AI usage now requires buying additional credits.

That said, I understand that AI usage has real infrastructure costs (servers, data processing, computing power). In that sense, credit consumption may be unavoidable.

--->> Conclusion
Marky is a strong, well-designed, and practical tool — especially for visual creation, workflow management, and post automation.
Its AI capabilities, however, are not yet strong enough (for me) to replace external AI tools for high-quality content creation.
Despite some concerns about credit usage, I remain satisfied overall.

Thank you for the thoughtful review and for highlighting the areas where Marky has been most valuable for you!

We appreciate the honest feedback on our AI capabilities and are continually working to improve output quality and instruction following. Regarding credits, we understand the concern and have since moved LTD users to a monthly replenishing credit allocation based on community feedback....
