Q: backstage

Hello,

We are currently using the Core version of StreamYard, which allows us to have up to 11 participants, including speakers and screen shares, on screen at the same time. We find the backstage feature especially useful, as it lets us invite speakers to join the session without immediately putting them live, giving us full control over when they appear on the webinar stage.

We would like to know:
How many speakers can be hosted simultaneously on meetn?
And does Meet offer any similar functionality to backstage or stage management?

Thank you in advance for your support.

Best regards,
marcello

A: Currently you can have up to 50 speakers and we're working on raising that to 200 or 300.
If you have "Attendees join muted" enabled and "hide muted attendees" enabled, then hosts and presenters will join "backstage" and when you unmute them, they are on stage -- just like streamyard
