CZB-TeamQ: Breakout rooms and Presentations
Hi,
1. Is it possible to randomly distribute participants among the breakout rooms?
2. I believe it's currently not possible, and I don't see it on the roadmap, but is it planned that during a presentation/slide show one can see both themselves and the participants, for example, on the top or right hand side? Maybe with a switch (1, 2, 3 rows/columns and 4, 8, 12, 16 people per row/column). Not as an overlay like Zoom, just reordered at, lets say, 25% of the window.
I think this is one of the most wanted feature.

May 7, 2025A: 1. yes you can randomly distribute people or manually assign them. Named breakout rooms are coming soon
2. Currently the closest we come to that is in room settings where you can activate "Show active speaker in small window during presentations. We will be dramatically enhancing control over views when we start developing more towards a webinar tool

Thanks, Rick! Have you an idea, when it will be possible, that all participants can see each other during a presentation? It makes it more interactive in groups with 10-30 people. I would love to change from zoom to meetn.

I would estimate early 2026 for seeing attendees while you share screen as we'll need the native windows/mac app to do it
