TheLaypersonQ: Buyout candidate?
@Rick Happy to say that I decided to stay on, albeit with just a single room, in the hope that I could meetn with old friends and record that for everyone to save those memories.
Does anything prevent Zoom from 'emulating' some of Meetn's features, and crushing the little guy? If Zoom or another big player made you a large offer to buy Meetn, and it was too good for you to say "no," what happens to our recordings and our LTD subscriptions thereafter?

May 25, 2025A: We are committed to our customers, and zoom is focused on enterprise needs while we are focused on the small business owner or solo entrepreneur or content creator. As to what happens if we get bought out, I don’t anticipate selling out to anyone I don’t respect.
Please be careful about selling to anyone. They all can seem respectable and then change.
Pls let know if it ever happens (hopefully never:-)) , the LTD customers will be honored by in any case of ownership change.. ??
