Q: Storage and Meeting Rooms. What's Best for Small Entrepreneur

Hi there. I'm a small influencer who used to be bigger. I'm hoping to up my game with interviews and possible group teaching sessions, group calls, or group coaching. Trying to sort out what plan would be best for me re: storage, etc.

I saw you mentioned that a person might want multiple rooms for family members and friends but I'm confused about what to get and what I would use the storage for.

Can I downgrade during the 60 day period if I purchase too high of a plan? Thanks!

A: Yes, you can upgrade, downgrade, or even cancel witting 60 days of purchase as we honor app sumo’s policies in that regard.

Think of each “room” as a separate zoom account.

It depends on your setup and how long you want to offer replays. A 60-minute recording with overlays is around 600 MB. If you host 5 sessions per week and keep them available for one week, that’s about 12 GB per month.

Tier 1 (5 GB) can get tight quickly. Tier 2 (20 GB) gives you more flexibility — you can delete or download recordings after a month. Storage is per room, so with two rooms (e.g. one for webinars, one for 1:1 calls), Tier 2 gives you 40 GB total.

For marketing funnels and evergreen webinars, storage use is different: keeping 2–3 evergreen recordings (around 1.8 GB) long-term. For live webinars, I’d recommend offering replays for 24–72 hours and deleting them after 1–2 weeks.

It all comes down to what you want to do in the future.

Appsumo says:
“Ability to upgrade between 5 license tiers while the deal is available. Ability to downgrade between 5 license tiers within 60 days of purchase.”

@_Sebastian_ I hope you don't mind my asking, but do you work for/with Rick? Thanks.

haha, not yet :D
No, no, I'm just curious and helpful.

@Rick_Meetn - thanks. Can you tell me what I would store in each account, please? So sounds like you are saying that I would get 1 for personal use and 1 for business (at least)?

Each room has its own URL, it’s own branding, its own settings, it’s own recording storage, and can do meetings independently of other Meetn rooms

A friendly warning - You can downgrade or upgrade while deal is live.
But once the deal ends, then in 60 days period you can only return/refund the products.

So be cautious of that. Once the deal ends, you cannot upgrade or downgrade the products.

Maybe someone from Appsumo team can clarify more on this.

Are you saying that that is typically how AppSumo works or what you think the situation is for this deal in particular? They told me that I can downgrade during the 60 day period. Hoping I understood that correctly.

@Rick_Meetn, can I remove the recordings and store them elsewhere? For example if I offered a membership, could I store them there? Thanks.

You can download and upload it in your Membership area.
If you host a Webinar and use Attendee-Interactive-Widgets (i.e., Buttons or Sign in Elements), which are still downloadable but will only be interactive in the MEETN-Replay.

@Rick_Meetn. Per AppSumo you can upgrade while the offer is here but downgrade during the 60 days.
