Q: Widget disconnecting the chat?

Hi! The more I play around with Meetn, the more excited I get. It's awesome!
Today I was testing with a friend and I wanted to show her the widget of "webpage popper" but as I was testing what happened when I clicked a button in the shared page, it took me to a full-page in the same tab, meaning I got kicked out of the meeting.
What is the proper settings for a webpage popper so this won't happen? Do we perhaps have to indicate that a button opens to a different page instead of same page?
I understand a great use for this is sharing a form and inviting people to sign up for a call or something, but if they click submit and get kicked out of the Meetn room, it wouldn't be ideal...
Hope this makes sense.
Excited to try it with "real students"!

A: The webpage popper is not quite the same as co-browsing

The webpage popper was primarily intended for things like registration forms or order forms. Things where each person needs their own copy for privacy, security and data integrity.

But Meeting has a feature where if you try to leave the webpage, it confirms that you really want to. So there should be no way that you can be forcibly removed from the meeting.

It is too early to announce a date, but I am looking at ways to add a co-browsing feature into Meetn. This would allow you to have a shared browsing experience when you want to do more of a demo or training rather than have people fill out a form.

Thanks! But how is it intended there? Normally a form leads to a thank you page. Perhaps we need to set it up do that there’s only a quick “message received” message, without redirects. I need to try it, it should work. Thanks for your super quick reply!

Typically, the page after a form submission is in the default target… replacing the currently loaded page. And that case works perfectly.
