Merlin is down in the sense that it extorts money and fails to address customer complaints. What I mean is that when I tried to cancel my subscription because it wasn't responding to my questions, it offered to lower the price from $12 to around $9. When I agreed, it immediately charged my card $12 again and didn't respond after that. I suggest giving up on Merlin.
