Q: Please explain: Bring your own OpenAI API Key.

I'll be frank. I'm comparing your product to Chatplayground AI that I've already purchased and been using for a while. At a glance I prefer quite a few things in your tool that I feel are lacking in Chatplayground AI (e.g. custom prompts seem to be much better integrated than in their solution). One thing where I feel they are superior is ability to add not only OpenAI key but keys for all other platforms as well. Do I understand, if I run out of your credits, I can only "refill" OpenAI with my own key? What about Gemini, Claude, Perplexity etc.?

A: Once you’ve used up your monthly queries, you can only access different GPT models from OpenAI by integrating your OpenAI API key. Currently, we do not permit the integration of any other API keys with Merlin.

Hi, I have the same question.
Today I upgraded to tier 2, but I can't find where to configure my OpenAI API Key.
I also would expect it to be used only once I run out of monthly credits. Please confirm.
Congratulations for this useful tool and I hope it will keep improving.
Canva soon?
Best,
Pedro

So, say, I buy Tier-2 now and later I realize it's not enough for my daily use, there are no options to 'top up' other models, just OpenAI, right? I'd have to buy another 'non-LTD' monthly/annual subscription from your site, right? It seems like a big issue if I commit to using your tool as my 'main ai copilot' solution.

I have similar question as to what this actually means. I bought the Tier 1 2-3 months ago and trying to decide if I should upgrade to 2.

Does Merlin allow you create "Merlin API keys"?

I’m also trying to understand how this compares with the black Friday special Merlin has right now using the code Forever5. I assume that's unlimited, but it's $60/year v.s this which is one time, right?
