Free plan have daily limits of 102 queries and it lapse next day if you don\u0027t use it, it\u0027s made in such a way that user can try all features for free. In tier one you have 5000 queries per month which has no daily limits so that you can use it as per your requirements. Somedays will be heavy usage, others will low or no usage but those 5000 queries won\u0027t lapse per day. They will get reset to 5000 every month.

The 6000 queries plan gives you the benefit of using them in burst. So if you have to work on something substantial on a give day, you are not bounded by just the 102 queries and can use all the queries in one go. Plus, expensive models come first to pro users, like claude opus and high priority customer support.

Now thats a bummer. Many of them here are soloprenuers and usages are limited to under 100 or even above but not on single day.
I might have to skip and stay in your free plan for now. I hoped to get atleast 10000 queries which wouldve been decent.

If you use AI regularly, you will notice that your usage is in bursts. So one day you will use maybe 300 queries, but 4 or 5 days you will not use at all. Most of our users have very low activity on weekends. 102 free queries is not 3000 actually. :)
