Q: What does the Quill feature entail?
Under the extension options in the description, it states: "Quill spawns in textareas and input boxes throughout the web to help you get quick access to powerful AI tools."
What exactly does this mean? I haven't seen any website where this feature works, including on HTML textarea and input box examples on W3Schools where Quill did not appear.
Could you please provide me with URLs where I can test this feature, and explain why it isn't working on all textareas/input boxes?
Needless to say, the Quill feature does not work even now - when writing this question. I do expect this simple feature to work properly, at least in 80% times.
Thank you much for you reply!

Jun 28, 2024A: Hey martineliascz,
Quill was our beta feature thought of as a grammarly type mount used to quickly write/create something... It was realeased partially to experiment.
It mounts on a few websites like
"www.reddit.com",
"news.ycombinator.com",
"www.producthunt.com",
"web.whatsapp.com",
"stackoverflow.com",
"discord.com"
This feature was experimental and user experience was not good, usage metrics for this feature were also not great. That's why we are disabling this feature.
Okay, thank you Kalpna for the reply! Will you add similar feature in the future - is it on the roadmap? I bought Merlin because of the Quill. And btw, will you fix the issue with GPT 3.5 being the default LLM upon starting a new chat? Thank you very much!
Hey Martineliasdcz, You can add your feature request here https://feedback.getmerlin.in/ We will try to add it in our roadmap. In our new product update, you will be able to set your default model for new chat.
Please re-install your extension to get the updates. If still facing issue, please write to support@getmerlin.in
