A: Given the T3 credits are a lot and for some users, it could be a good replacement of our regular pro plan, the typical bulk buying discount has not be applied over there. We wanted to offer something that is sustainable to us in the very long run (when GPT-5 or any other very costly model comes in). And therefore, along with AppSumo team, we decided to price it slightly higher. T3 users also have more usage on avg than T2, so the cost per query increases as there are less unutilised queries.

Instead of making the comparison of T3 vs T2 on just price per credit (where both are fairly similar overall and the difference is less than 1 cent per query). What can be a better way to look at it is, to ask ourselves on what our actual expected monthly usage is. And to choose a plan that is closest to satisfy our monthly needs very well. If T2 does that, its better, though if you anticipate higher usage than the T2 plan and if you don't want to use OpenAI API key to continue usage, maybe T3 can be a better choice.
