Promising AI assistant with room for improvement

I have mixed feelings about Merlin. On the positive side, I've found it to be a useful tool within certain applications, particularly Gmail, LinkedIn, and for search engine assistance. The integration with these platforms has been seamless and has helped to improve my productivity.

However, there are several areas where Merlin falls short. One issue is that I've found Merlin to be somewhat tokens-hungry (even wit Tier 2, i am afraid to fall short ). Additionally, the personal bots don't always function as smoothly as I'd hope, and I'm disappointed that they cannot be easily selected or customized within the Chrome extensions or in Gmail/LinkedIn. This limits the flexibility and usefulness of these bots.

Furthermore, the personal bots lack the ability to leverage a wide range of knowledge, such as details about specific companies, websites, or URLs. Expanding the input and knowledge capabilities of these bots would make them much more powerful and useful tools.

The lack of reliable language and speech recognition and audio output capabilities is also a major shortcoming. Even when speaking in English, Merlin often misunderstands my input and provides awkward, nonsensical responses. This makes it very difficult to have a natural, conversational experience.

Compared to AI assistants like ChatGPT, which offer superior natural language processing and the ability to communicate via audio, Merlin's shortcomings become even more apparent. The lack of these core functionalities is a major drawback that severely impacts the overall user experience.

While Merlin has its strengths in certain areas, the token-hungry nature, unreliable personal bots, poor speech recognition, and absence of audio support are significant limitations that I hope the development team will address in future updates. Until then, I cannot fully recommend Merlin as a reliable and satisfactory AI assistant, though I do believe it has potential for improvement

We hear you on:
1. Token-hungry part -->> We hear you and I will take it with team to see what best we can do
2. Unreliable personal bots, Poor speech recognition -->> These two parts are a little bit technically hard to solve but we will take it up
3. Absence of audio support -->> Unfortunately the costing for customer support is a major limitation. We are planning to expand our support staff. And once we do that, we will mostly be able to provide a stronger support system even on email and hopefully as our business grows, we will try to pull more support on audio too.
