Q: # Frequently asked questions Q.

Can I uninstall Microthemer but keep the changes?
A. Yes. This is useful if you don’t want clients to use Microthemer.
We provide a simple plugin that only loads Microthemer’s CSS. Or you can copy some code to your theme’s functions.php file.

Q. Can I add content with Microthemer?
A. No. We leave content editing to Gutenberg, page builders, and all of the other great WordPress tools. Microthemer is just for styling existing content.

Q. Does Microthemer work with “X” theme or “X” page builder?
A. Almost certainly. Microthemer doesn’t care how your WordPress content was generated. It just needs to be created with WordPress. That’s what makes it a really flexible styling tool. If you notice compatibility issues with any other WordPress product, please bring it to our attention and we will work on a fix ASAP. We’re committed to ensuring you can use Microthemer with any WordPress setup.

Q. What does deep integration with Elementor, Beaver Builder, and Oxygen mean?
A. It means you can edit with both apps at the same time, from a single browser tab. I’m open to adding this kind of integration with other tools, if demand grows. So feel free to vote!

Q. Can I transfer licenses between domains with the 3 or 10 site license?
A. No. This is because it's a feature of Microthemer that you can completely uninstall it after making style edits, and still have the changes stick. But development and staging sites do not count towards your quota. We will remove these on request.

Q. What is the difference between the free and paid version?
A. The free version limits you to styling 15 things and does not have all the features. It is mainly for evaluation purposes, or quick one-off styling fixes. All paid versions have all features, the only difference is the number of sites.

Q. Can you help with CSS issues?
A. Yes. I’ve been happily helping complete beginners style their website with Microthemer for several years now. We have a public forum where you can search for answers and get help any time.
