Q: Hey Sebastian, Loving your product so far.

There is a way to use it for the WP Dashboard customization? That would be perfect, if there is a way, please let me know!

A: Hey Rafael, it's awesome to hear that you're loving Microthemer so far. There is indeed a way to customize the WP dashboard. You need to add support for point and click editing of the admin area via Settings > Preferences. See the following video (at the correct seek point):

https://themeover.com/load-wordpress-css-on-specific-pages/?seekTo=655

The video also talks about ensuring your folders load in the admin area by setting a logical condition on the folder:

is_admin()

You can still use the conditional logic options, but since recording the video a switching for Global | Page has been added to the bottom left of the interface. Using those options often means you don't have to manually input folder logic yourself. Choosing the "Global" option for an admin folder should generate logic that applies it to all Admin pages. And choosing the "Page" option should make your styles apply to just the current type of screen - e.g. edit post or edit users etc.

I haven't used the admin theming options myself extensively, so do let me know if anything can be done to improve that feature once you've played around a bit.

On a related note, integration with the block editor is coming soon. This will make it easy to apply Microthemer CSS in both contexts (the editor and the frontend).

Cheers!
Sebastian

Hey Sebastian,

Thank you for your help, you solved my problem! Amazing product, I just upgraded to code 3 stack. I haven't explored all its potential yet, but I know that will be a very useful tool. Do you think maybe MicroTheme will have deep integration with DIVI 5?

Later on I will write a well-deserved review! Thanks Seba!

Hey Seba, sorry for the slow reply. It's easy to miss follow up questions on AppSumo.

Unfortunately it's not been possible to add deep integration with Divi so far because it doesn't allow itself to be loaded inside an iframe. It's the only builder that has that restriction. So the only option is to use two browser tabs. The option to sync CSS and saved/published content changes between tabs should be helpful for that workflow though. More info on that in the following video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ewHWMBwGFT0

Cheers,
Sebastian
